The location is the one real plus, since we needed to be close to the Centro. For what we paid, the place wasn’t as clean as expected. My direct booking experience was awful: they charged me right away, then I canceled the three rooms two days later when my dates changed, but the money didn’t come back. I emailed and messaged without getting a response, and eventually disputed the charges with my credit card company because I was paying interest. I booked again through Booking.com. Two months after the cancellation, they asked me to withdraw the disputes and said they’d reimburse me directly. I trusted them and did, but they only refunded the two cheapest rooms, not the most expensive one. They claimed they’d lost the dispute, though my credit card company said that was probably a lie and they just didn’t want to deal with their bank. My advice is to book through a reliable source, not directly with them.

The property told me directly that the “double queen apartment” on booking.com is actually a normal-sized hotel room with two beds, not a 969 square foot apartment as the listing says. I’ve had descriptions fail to match the accommodation before, so I contacted them before booking. The place looks lovely and I imagine it’s quite nice, but the room and apartment descriptions should be updated with the correct square footage so guests know what they’re getting.

The private rooftop is just for guests, and there’s a cute restaurant and bar right on the property. Its location in the heart of town can’t be beat, yet the double-pane windows kept the room quiet. Everything looked exactly like the photos, the room was immaculate, and the property exceeded our expectations. From the driver who picked us up at the airport to all the restaurant staff, everyone was kind and helpful. Hugo from the management company LRM was especially great, and our requests were handled within minutes. We leave today and already hope to return soon. If you’re considering this place, just book. It’s a hidden gem and worth the cost.
