I've stayed here easily eight times and it's always been a good experience. It's handy for my sister's place on the outskirts, while still being walkable to the Centro. Front desk and restaurant service are friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks fluent English, which gives me a chance to practise my Spanish. And the breakfasts can't be beat, especially the chilaquiles and molletes.

A really nice, quiet hotel for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean. You can walk to plenty of restaurants, though they're not very close. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back!

We paid in full almost two months ahead for four nights in October, but a family emergency meant we had to cancel through our travel consultant. The next day she told us Casa Primavera wouldn't refund any of our money. I've had to pay cancellation charges at other hotels before, but getting nothing back is absurd. We're out well over $400, and they can rebook the room. This family news has become a lot more expensive. Anyone considering a stay should make sure they can go, or arrange a refund agreement in advance. Beware Casa Primavera in San Miguel De Allende!

An excellent place to stay for an amazing price, in a quiet location. They have a free van service to the centro plaza, running every hour to pick up guests.

The building was aesthetically OK, and there are better options closer to town. You'll need to pay for taxis to get to and from the town centre. There was no heating during the January 2024 winter blast, and the staff at the entrance were always awkwardly quiet. Having not traveled to Mexico in over 20 years, I was already worried about my safety, and the staff gave me a weird vibe. They also seemed unwilling to honor the complimentary shuttle, making every excuse. Once they said it had broken down, but didn't call to tell me. We waited at the street corner for 35 minutes, then took a taxi. When we got back to the hotel, we saw the shuttle driving around the corner. I won't stay here again or recommend it.
