Breakfast was freshly made, tasty, and offered enough choices for a stay of more than a week. But what makes Casa Schuck feel like home is the staff, especially Alejandra and Gabriel. They're warm, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable whenever you need them. This was our fifth trip to SMA and our second year at Casa Schuck. We've enjoyed other places in San Miguel, but this is the best we've found and our go-to boutique hotel. It's a peaceful walk up the hill from the jardin principal, yet only a few minutes from restaurants, museums, and other places to visit. The rooms we've stayed in were spacious and well-appointed. Between the restful courtyard, upper area with its small pool, and rooftop terraces, there's plenty of room to read, talk, have a glass of wine, or simply sit and think. Coming back this year felt like coming home. Highly recommended.

We had a comfortable room, good food, and kind, accommodating service, which made for a wonderful stay. The upstairs deck has incredible downtown views and comfy furniture. Breakfast is included, made to order, and generous, with just about anything you could think of. We stayed in the library room, and every room is carefully decorated around its own theme. Casa Schuck is gorgeous, full of plants, flowers, and art objects. It's a short walk to Centro, but the hotel itself is quiet and private. The staff were incredibly kind, and the cleanliness was first-rate.

Breakfast was over the top, and our group probably tried everything on the menu. It was all delicious. Gabriel, Jorge, and everyone else there were so hospitable and accommodating. They treated us like royalty, helped arrange drivers, and recommended local sights. The rooms were incredibly clean, cozy, and adorable, and ours even had a fireplace. Casa Schuck was a fabulous boutique hotel. I can't say enough good things about our stay, the hotel, and its staff. You won't be disappointed!

My mom and I loved our stay and would happily come back. Casa Schuck feels like San Miguel in all the best ways, charming, historic, artistic, intimate, and peaceful. The view is great, and it's walkable to places, though it's up a hill, which is something to consider if getting around is difficult for you. They include a lovely breakfast. The place itself is very nice, and the caring, kind staff made it feel like a true hidden gem, one of the best hotels I've stayed at in SMA. Thank you, Casa Schuck!

The breakfasts were great, and everyone on staff was thoughtful and kind. The house and its courtyard garden are stunning, almost unreal, and several terraces look out across the city. We had a wonderful time at Casa Schuck.
