The location makes it easy to explore the historic center, shops, and restaurants, all a short walk from Casa Nare, then return to a quiet and comfortable place to rest. This charming boutique hotel has a pleasant, cozy, welcoming feel. With its thoughtful details, it feels more like living as a local in San Miguel de Allende than staying in a typical hotel.

We were back for our second trip, and Adrian and everyone here were fabulous. The town can be bustling, so staying here felt like a welcome break. A yummy breakfast gave us the energy for our three-hour walk around town.

The rooms are great, and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the central area. Breakfast is excellent and intimate. Get the chilaquilles!

Everything felt easy during our stay, and the staff took care of us so well. The hotel has a lovely layout, and you can head upstairs for a view of the church. It’s also handy for getting around, with pretty much everything just a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast was wonderful. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende.

Casa Nare is an easy place to recommend, whether you’re traveling solo or as a couple. It’s in a safe-feeling spot within walking distance of the attractions, and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. Adrian, Paola and Claudia were friendly, courteous, and gave us useful tips for restaurants, tours, and getting around. Muchas gracias, Adrian, Claudia y Paula! We’d stay here again if we return to SMA.
