Rafael and his family are so kind and helpful, and the other hotel residents are lovely too. It feels like we're all one big family. We love the communal kitchen and the spot by the beach. I've stayed here five times now, including last week, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year. Thanks, Rafael!

The pool is peaceful, and the beach and several restaurants are close by. We've been coming to hotel bahia for over 12 years, and this family-run place is always spotless. The shared kitchen is well stocked and kept immaculate.

At least the rooms are clean, but for the price I expected much more. They charge extra for drinking water and air-conditioning, which feels like nickel-and-diming. Showers are often cold, and the water pressure is poor. The stairs feel like a maze, with no elevator or help with luggage. If you're on an upper floor and not fit, hauling up five gallons of water is rough. The location also wasn't great for me, with few stores nearby and a long way from the square.

Just a block from the beach, this is a really cool, quiet, relaxing hotel. The rooms are very clean, and the outlets are conveniently placed.
