The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, though they didn't quite match the luxury of the lobby. The hotel is in a good area with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and key attractions. Staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful service throughout. It delivered a five-star experience and seems like a good fit for business or leisure.

I spent seven nights here, and the room service was consistently poor. Every order took an hour or more, whatever the time, and the food always arrived room temperature or colder. On January 3-4, my last night, I ordered a club sandwich at 12:05 am after a long evening. They called two minutes later to ask if it was okay for it to arrive in four minutes, and I politely said of course. An hour later, it showed up soggy, with very cold, stale fries. That was just the latest of many bad experiences. The bartender wasn't helpful and seemed more interested in being right than providing good service. He was also the person who brought our food to the room. The hotel has amazing potential because of its location, but they don't understand good service, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The women who cleaned the rooms, though, were very kind and did a good job.

We came from San Antonio and picked the hotel for its beautiful architecture and location. Overall, we were very satisfied, and breakfast was decent. Poolside service was horrible, though. We waited 30 minutes for two beers that never arrived and left after we'd already waited 30 minutes for the first round.

Friends and relatives aren't allowed up to your room when they visit. They have to wait in the lobby. I also found out that booking online costs more. Apparently there's a direct number to call, and you can pay at least 25-30% less.
