Blue Bicycle House - Hostel

After spending time out in the Centro, I found this hostel quiet and comfortable for getting some rest. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and there are large lockers in the rooms for luggage. The terrace has a fantastic city view, too. A really good hostel in a great location, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place in Querétaro.

The receptionist was so nice, and the other guests seemed friendly. I only spent a couple of hours here in the afternoon after going to a show in the city, then came back to sleep, but I really liked the vibe. My private room had a bunk bed as well as a king-size bed, so there was plenty of space if you’re traveling with friends. It came with fresh towels, a private bathroom, and a small, lovely private terrace. I’d happily stay here again anytime.

The owner was relaxed, and the free breakfast was pretty good. I walked in and booked one night at a very low price, and the dorm happened to be empty. It was one of those rare times I actually got to rest in a hostel. Nice surprise to find a place like this right in the city. The main drawback was the shower, which was downstairs in an outdoor yard. The pressure was iffy, and the water stayed cold for a while.

The terrace is lovely, with a great view, and the location is fantastic. I felt at home during my three-night stay. The place was clean, nicely decorated, and well priced. Staff were incredibly kind and understanding, even with my limited Spanish.
