The room at Casa Carmona was lovely, and its colonial style and great location made it a real treat. But noise from the room next door really affected our stay. Around 4 am, the guests there started playing music and making a lot of noise. We tried reaching the front desk or owner for help and got no response. It finally quieted down about an hour later. Casa Carmona has a lot going for it, but not being able to get help that early in the morning made it hard to relax.

We came here for a wedding, and it seems like a great venue for events like that. The rooftop view was spectacular, and the weather helped, too.

The place itself is nice, and the room was fine, though the bathroom was a bit small. I was there with two friends, three siblings in all. One of them booked directly over WhatsApp for a room for three, with a double bed and a sofa bed. The owner was quite rude, and there was never anyone at the front desk to help. Cleanliness was about 7/10: hair in the bathroom drain, stains on the bedspread, and a toilet paper roll that was already more than half empty. The worst part was not being told there'd be an event on the terrace Saturday night. The music was extremely loud from 7 pm Saturday until 10 am Sunday, with fights among people at the event. I would pick somewhere else to stay.

Everything worked perfectly, and the rooms were really comfortable. The receptionist was super friendly and attentive, too. I'd definitely come back 🙂↕️. It's under new management, so earlier reviews don't apply.
