Hotel Patio Santiago

The staff made us feel like family, and I won’t forget how they looked after us. During our two-week stay my husband had a medical emergency. Angel, Chris, and Alonso came to help in our room, took us to the hospital, and kept checking on us throughout. When we weren’t feeling well, Wendy and Alonso brought food to our room. Fedra from the Restaurant and Yesenia at the front desk were helpful as well. I’m so grateful we were at a hotel with such caring people, and I knew I’d miss them when we left. We’ll definitely return. The location in the historic center was very convenient, the service was excellent in every way, and our room was always spotless.

We were in and checked in quickly, and the staff took our car and bags when we arrived. Our room was on the first floor. Breakfast was included, though the free option was pretty limited. Apart from that, everything was great.

This was easily the worst hotel stay we’ve ever had. A staff member who said he was the valet, and also the bellboy and events manager, took our car for safekeeping. Important, valuable documents were inside. While the car was in the hotel’s custody, someone on staff took the documents from the trunk without our permission. We discovered they were gone the next day, after checkout, when we reached our destination. We contacted the hotel right away. After several calls and being passed around, the so-called manager finally answered. He denied responsibility, showed no concern, and offered no help at all. The hotel showed no professionalism, accountability, or basic security. If your belongings matter to you, don’t stay here. We strongly do not recommend this place. Be extremely careful with your personal items.

Hotel Patio Santiago is our go-to in QRO MX, and we love it. The reception, restaurant, and service are all fantastic. We’ll be back. gracias por todo. Especially Pablo y Yasmine ♥️
