The charm of this hacienda hits you as soon as you walk in. With breezy hallways, generous indoor and outdoor areas, a private pool, and incredible art and antique furniture, it's a unique rental that works well for groups. But a property this large needs more upkeep and would benefit from full-time staff. The old wooden bedroom and bathroom doors don't shut or lock properly, and tiles are coming off the bottom of the pool. The kitchen was missing working appliances and basics like an ice tray. There's also nobody to take out the trash, sweep up the dirt that inevitably gets tracked in, or bring fresh towels. Those are things you don't want to worry about on vacation.
