Hotel Campo Real Plus Tamasopo

The service sucked, and I really can’t recommend this place. There was no WiFi, a leak in the restroom, and the toilets didn’t work unless I took the top off and fiddled with it to get the tank filling and flushing again. No food was included, but at 950 a night it felt overpriced. I paid 1027mxn a night at the 4 star Hotel IStay in monterrey Nuevo Leon, and it was great, like a holiday Inn, with WiFi, clean rooms, a nice view, a pool, everything you’d want in a hotel, and food included. Here, the pool was dirty and basically 1 ft deep, maybe just for kids, and the parking area was tiny. There was no security at all. A few tourists from other parts of Mexico were drunk as hell on the floor, talking smack, and nobody said anything. My TV looked like it was from the 90s; I had to mess with the antenna to get color, and the picture was still blurry, not even digital.
