My wife and I had a very quiet night in a room with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The property is gated, with roving security, and we felt very safe. It’s pet friendly, and parking right in front of our room was plentiful. When we had a small hot water issue, the front desk fixed it within minutes. Breakfast from 7 am to 11 am was hot and plentiful, and the staff serving it were wonderful and accommodating. The grounds were easy to get around. The furniture is old and the room could use an update, so don’t expect the Ritz. We enjoyed our stay, would return when traveling toward Mexico City, and would recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you Hotel Mision Express Saltillo.

Roberto at the front desk was amazing, and his bilingual help with translating was an extra bonus. The grounds were beautiful, and the parking lot felt secure. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. We plan to stay here again on our return.

The buffet was a real highlight, with Chef putting out a great range of tasty dishes. Alejandro was always smiling and checking that everyone was looked after. During my recovery, they asked every day if I needed anything, and the director and staff treated me like family. I stayed for more than two weeks while in town for a medical procedure, and their kindness and professionalism meant a lot. The room was comfortable and very nice in the cold weather. When a small issue came up, they fixed it right away. Would I come back? Absolutely.

The breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. My room was small but comfortable, and the heat worked well. The main problem was the shower: it barely drained, and I asked twice without getting a response. The hotel is a little dated, though still a nice place to stay. I’m being generous with the four stars. Parking there and taking Uber worked well for me, and rides around town were fairly cheap. One caution: in Mexico, a motel is generally a place for people cheating on a spouse, with rooms rented by the hour or in six-hour blocks.

The breakfast was the standout for us, freshly made, hot, and full of choices. We’ve been here for two weeks, and although there were a few maintenance problems at first, they took care of them. For the price, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, and the hospitality is top notch. Highly recommend it.
