The room was dirty, with furniture that was badly broken, and the bathroom ceiling leaked some mystery liquid from above. We got two threadbare towels, with no small towels or bath mat. Every morning, thumping music came up from the aerobics studio downstairs. There was no phone, fridge, microwave, or other normal detail to make the room comfortable. Our view was an ugly back alley and crumbling buildings. The online photos look okay, but they don't show what you actually get here. This would get zero stars if I could. I would never stay again. If you're going to Tapachula, I strongly suggest one of the hotels near Walmart. We moved to the Marriott and were very pleased.

The area feels dangerous, and if you're alone, it's better not to go out after sunset. The building, rooms, furniture, and cleaning were all very bad. There seemed to be no staff, and when you asked for something they were very rude. They charged for everything, even hot water. Don't go there.

The shower had good pressure, though it took a while for hot water to come through. The pool was clean and had been chlorinated. Breakfast was included, and it was more than just a bagel and coffee. Comfortable accommodations for a fair price.

The front desk guy was rude and unhelpful, and my room was dirty. The location is good, though. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it's a cheap option.

It's an old hotel that needs maintenance. The location is good, right in the city center, but there's no pool and parking is difficult.
