Hotel de la Borda

The only thing I liked was the view of Taxco. The stay itself was unpleasant, and I wouldn't recommend it. The reception areas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Our room didn't look like the photos on the map. They call it rustic, but it was poorly kept, and the beds were uncomfortable. The place felt eerie, like a museum. There were four of us but only two towels. Spiders were everywhere. They may be harmless, but sleeping around so many was unsettling. The bathroom had hot water, but it wasn't cleaned properly, and the shower had what looked like old mold stuck to it. The beds seemed clean, but I woke up with rashes all over my body, and I suspect the dust caused them. The pool was utterly filthy. We only stayed because we couldn't find anywhere else available.
