Hotel Plaza Rivera

A truly awful stay. They quoted one price based on parking, since they didn’t have any, and then charged a different one. You rent a room and are told to call back the next day to book, only to find they’re completely full. On top of that, loud noise starts at 7:00 AM and you can’t sleep. A terrible choice.

Everything about the hotel was terrible. Even with a reservation, they take ages to respond, and there’s no room service once you arrive. There’s a bar upstairs, and the party continues until 3 am, so you can’t sleep. The hotel is awful.

Mr. Ezequiel Rivera gave us personalized attention, and the service, decor, and colonial atmosphere were all excellent. There’s private parking, plus a panoramic view to enjoy or the option to go down to La Bambina Brewery. A great choice for a weekend getaway, 100% recommended to all my followers.

The bar upstairs is open to the public, so this isn’t a good place if you want a proper rest. It gets too noisy. They turn the music down at midnight, but people leaving the bar carry on partying in the street right under the rooms. Reception said closing the window would block the sound, but it doesn’t.
