The staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast was a highlight, with tasty traditional Mexican choices. When we brought up problems with the room, they moved us to a junior suite with a mountain view. It was somewhat better and partly met expectations. We had booked the luxury studio suite expecting a city view, but it had no outside-facing windows, only one onto the inner hallway, and the slotted door made privacy feel even more limited. The kitchenette listing was generous for what was there: a stove and fridge, but no dishes or utensils, plus the cabinets smelled unpleasant. The advertised fast Wi-Fi was unreliable at first; the front desk later gave us access to a faster network that worked well, so ask for it when you arrive. The first room didn't live up to the listing or what we'd expect from a place marketed as 4-star.

We had a roomy double with very comfortable beds and lots of pillows to pick from. The bathroom was a good size, and the hot water and pressure were both strong, though the lighting could be better for shaving. Our street-facing room was mostly quiet, but the thin curtains let in plenty of early morning light. Breakfast was basic but fine when included, with other choices available for an extra fee. The hotel is a few blocks from the main square and its shops and restaurants. I'd be happy to stay again.

Free breakfast, a really comfy bed, and a great suite. This quiet, clean little hotel is a few blocks behind the cathedral, with a small bar and rooftop restaurant area. Had a great stay in Tepic and will definitely come back. Two thumbs up for the location.

A charming little place in a great spot for the money. Travelers who are mature, experienced, and interested in culture will appreciate its character and the lovely views. Really enjoyed it!
