The setting with the mountains and nature is beautiful as soon as you walk in, and the whole hotel feels calming and restorative. Our room was lovely, with a fireplace, an outdoor sitting area, and a large shower. Each morning started with a basket of cookies, tea, and coffee, and they did evening turndown. The pool bar had great food, drinks, and service, and we felt the same about breakfast and dinner. Wellness options include yoga twice a day with meditation beforehand, plus a spa menu of massages, treatments, and holistic rituals. The hotel is about an hour and a half outside Mexico City, and I can't recommend it enough for a peaceful getaway.

The location made it easy to walk into the local town, with some really great restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed three nights in Feb 2025. The property was stunning and very well cared for, and both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. Breakfast especially stood out. I also highly recommend the spa experiences. The rooms were good, though they felt more stripped back than I'd hoped and weren't as luxurious. Would highly recommend the hotel!

They've thought of so many details to make this a special, relaxing escape. The setting, facilities, and rooms are exquisite, and the service is incredible: personal, thoughtful, and always available. This spa hotel is a dream.

The hotel is a long way from the town center, and there's no complimentary shuttle or transport. With prices like these, that should be standard. There are almost no free amenities either, not even basics like milk or soda water, so every little necessity costs extra. The amount of penny-pinching feels cheap at a premium price. It presents itself as a high-end boutique hotel, but the experience fell far short of that. The gap between the cost and what we got was striking and disappointing. It felt misleading and poorly managed, and the service, amenities, and value don't justify the price. I'd strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The room design was amazing, with beautiful grounds, breathtaking views, an infinity pool, and plenty of staff ready to help at any hour. There was a midday room refresh, a free gourmet breakfast made with all-natural ingredients, and a guarded entrance around the clock. The walls were thin enough that you could practically hear everything next door. Checkout was very strict: I got calls at 12:09 and 12:15. Tired of being called, I was on the patio by 12:20, still finishing packing my suitcase. Someone was already sitting over me with a walkie-talkie, giving another person minute-by-minute updates on my progress. They stayed to supervise until I left the patio, which felt strange for a hotel costing more than the Ritz.
