Comfortable place, and a good one to stay at.

The garden and view were the best parts, and they have a beautiful goat. The room itself was much more run down than the photos suggested. The shower doors were broken, the sink tap barely worked, and the towels were worn out. The mattress and pillows were really uncomfortable, and there wasn’t even toilet paper when we arrived.

The owners were lovely, but the rooms need a bit more care. They have a musty smell, and that makes them feel unusually cold too.

The staff were helpful and friendly at first, and our stay seemed good. We chose to add another night, though, and got moved to a completely different room. It had cockroaches, a full-on infestation.

We’d agreed to book for two and I was asked to put down 50%. I said yes and we talked, but the account information for the deposit never came through. I forgot about that detail since we’d already made the arrangement. When we showed up, they wouldn’t give us the rooms and didn’t even come out to speak with us. What a bunch of crooks. Avoid them.
