The rooms look out toward the mountains, and there’s a lovely view from the rooftop terrace. They’re simple but comfortable, with hot water. The people are very friendly, the service is good, and it’s inexpensive but pleasant. There’s no sign showing where it is, and it’s a block and a half from the main road. A pharmacy and local shops are a block away.
Opening the window to an orange tree was a lovely welcome. This is a peaceful, cozy place surrounded by nature in a small village, just right for relaxing. It’s not for anyone after a sophisticated hotel with TVs and technology. If you like tranquility, nature, comfort, and relaxation, you’ll feel at home here.
Professor Fidel is such a lovely host: kind, helpful, peaceful, and a great conversationalist. The setting is magical, with majestic mountains all around and beautiful places to walk. It’s cool and romantic, with hot water, too. A wonderful place. I’d come back and always recommend it.
If you want a peaceful rest without noise or interruptions, this place is ideal. It’s modest, and the rooms are small, but they’re clean and comfortable. I only needed mine to shower and sleep, so it was enough. The owner is extremely kind. It’s 25 to 30 minutes from the bustle of Tepoztlán, but I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place with few people around.
Fidel and his wife Lidia are very friendly, and the property has orange and avocado trees with an excellent view. The rooms are simple, and towels cost extra. There’s no cell phone signal in town, but a nearby trail leads up a hill to a beautiful viewpoint. The hotel does have Wi-Fi.
