Dulce at the front desk helped us book all the activities we wanted, and her English is very good. Everyone was kind from the start. At the restaurant, Armando explained the menu in detail so we could choose, and his effort to speak English was really sweet and flattering. The resort and its surroundings are beautiful, with magical views, and the spa massage was the most incredible one I’ve ever had. My one complaint is that there’s no staff at night, so I couldn’t ask for extra shampoo or towels.

The restaurant was fabulous, and we had a great time at the spa hotel. But our shower had black mold, and there weren’t enough staff.

The gardens and design are beautiful, but for what you pay, the stay was disappointing. There are no TVs in the rooms, the pool shuts at 8, and you have to pay extra for the sauna. We got back from town in time for the hot tub before its early closing, only to find the water cold. Arranging the temazcal was difficult, and we waited almost an hour for a taxi into town.

The place itself is beautiful, the hotel is lovely, and breakfast was great. But the pool cleaner was extremely disrespectful and shut the pool early, before the posted time. The woman at the desk was disappointing too. They offered me a free drink as an apology, but by then it was too late and the water had gone cold. It could have been a great stay with staff who provide good customer service. I also found a hair on my pillow.

We added a few days at La Buena Vibra to the end of our trip to CDMX, and it was a perfect way to finish the week. Such a beautiful location, and the staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were cleaned very thoroughly between guests. Highly recommend!
