The beds were some of the best I've slept on in a hotel, and the staff were very nice. It's a great little hotel in a convenient spot, but being so close to the square means noise, so bring earplugs. The rooms stay fairly warm at night in winter. The elevator wasn't working, though the staircase is more than wide enough.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the hotel is right downtown, within walking distance of everything. But we got no sleep. The church bells are extremely loud at 6 am and ring for about five minutes. We thought we'd forgotten to turn off our alarms. The rooms are right by the market, too, so hammering starts at 7 am and continues all morning without a break. If you want to sleep, don't stay here. There are two small windows that let in a lot of light as soon as the sun comes up, and nothing to cover them. The hotel should consider adding curtains. Parking costs 85 pesos per night and isn't included in the room rate.

The breakfast is good, but they don't mention that the elevator is out of order until after you've paid for the room. The stairs are too narrow to carry all your luggage easily.

The place is super clean, the location is excellent, and breakfast is delicious. I gave it four stars because parking costs extra and isn't cheap.

The service was excellent, and everything was clean and organized. It's just off the Zocalo, close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants.
