Great spot.

It takes a while for the hot water to come through. Getting there is difficult, but the place is cozy and good for passing some time.

The owner is very kind and attentive, and always offers advice. He warned us not to drive the highway at night because it's one of the most dangerous. The hotel is simple but cozy, and you can pay by bank transfer, which is a huge help. There isn't any food for sale, and bringing food into the rooms is prohibited. Finding the place can be tricky if you don't know the area. Maps practically told us to jump off the bridge from above, haha. Coming from downtown San Martín Texmelucan along San Salvador el Verde, it's on the left side of the vehicle bridge. It's centrally located for visiting Val'Quirico or the archaeological areas, about 20 or 30 minutes away. Highly recommend it.

For the price, it's great value and does the job, and I'd definitely stay again. The owner is always attentive. The room could use a little sprucing up, but the bathroom was in good condition. It isn't luxurious, but it's very economical. It's not for demanding guests, though I think the hotel has a lot of potential if they invest in it. Nights aren't cold, but you can hear the rooms next door. They should also offer different types of blankets. Personally, I really liked it.
