Hangar Inn Tijuana

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, and the price is excellent. There’s enclosed underground parking, and although the outside and location might give the wrong impression, I felt safe here. The visible security officers made rounds, and cameras are everywhere. It’s also close to the airport. The owners are great, and the staff were lovely throughout. Lisbeth and Rosio at reception were professional, answered all my questions, and suggested places to visit and eat. Brisa was cheerful whenever I saw her and was always busy cleaning. Thanks as well to the breakfast, evening, and cleaning teams, whose names I didn’t get. They kept the hotel clean and presentable. I did have one disappointing issue that cost the hotel two stars. I left a generous tip for the maid who cleaned my room, but saw the housekeeping supervisor take it when I was checking out. Someone at the hotel later confirmed the maid hadn’t received it. If the supervisor didn’t clean the room, she shouldn’t have taken the tip.

The rooms are really pretty and roomy. I’d definitely stay here again!

They held onto my passport until they got money for cleaning, even though they already had my card details. The “stains” washed out completely, but they still charged me for new bedding and other things.

There’s coffee available 24 hours, and the hotel has an elevator. I had a great stay overall.
