Marriott Hotel Tijuana

My room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The staff were friendly and happy to answer all my questions about the hotel. At the front desk they speak English and Spanish, so don't worry if your Spanish isn't great. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The valet took my hand to help me out of the car and carried my bags with me to the front desk. 10/10, I'd definitely book again!

The rooms feel really outdated for a four-star hotel. As a Bonvoy Elite member who's traveled all over the world, I found this by far my worst Marriott experience, especially because of the night shift manager and staff. I've stayed there a few times, but I won't be going back. Save your money and try a nearby Marriott, like the Fairfield Inn, which isn't far away.

I felt unsafe and ignored during my recent stay at the Tijuana Marriott. Another guest came into the space I had been told was mine, and my room had an adjoining door left open. The room phones weren't working either. I kept asking for a supervisor, but none was available. When I checked out, I asked for follow-up and points for the inconvenience, but nothing was resolved. Later, Hector Matamoros Cardenas responded by dismissing my concerns and minimizing how serious the situation was. Guest safety should be a top priority, and this fell far short of Marriott's standards. I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff and service were bad. I was placed near construction, and after I complained about the noise, they moved me to the loudest room, right in front of the elevator. It felt like they did it on purpose. When I complained again, they didn't care and left me in that room. Even sitting at the bar was a hassle, it took them 35 minutes to bring nachos.
