The new receptionist was courteous and helpful. I had booked online through the hotel's website the day before, and she was able to get me a room. At midnight, though, while I was waiting to hand in my room key and remote, the employee outside checking cars came over mumbling in Spanish and asked to take my keys so he could inspect the room. He seemed confrontational, and I wasn't in the mood for a late-night argument, so I handed them over. I don't understand why he checked my room when I'd seen other guests return keys to the receptionist earlier without any inspection. Management needs to address this unprofessional conduct. It could create legal trouble for the hotel.

The only downside for us was that it seems suited to couples rather than families. The hotel was very clean, and it's just a short walk from a shopping center, grocery store, Little Caesars bread store, and several small shops. The security guard was very nice and kept watch at night, checking that the owner was taking a car when one left.

It was quiet, and the room had both AC and heat. The bathroom and shower are open to the room with no door. There's a pizza place right outside, and its large pepperoni pizza with soda was $6 and really good. You have to leave your key when you go out.

Being close to Urbi was about the only good thing. The rooms had Netflix, but the air conditioner was loud, the open toilet felt weird, and the shower and bed were just okay. Morning noise was too much. I'd drive to another motel or hotel for better value.

Clean, comfortable rooms for a good price, and the shower was nice. I'll come back for the rooms, though the people answering the phone weren't helpful.
