Hotel Yolanda

Before checking out today, 11/23/2025, I stepped out for a few minutes to get coffee and return my food plate. When I came back, I couldn't find a particular shirt I planned to wear, even after checking my things several times. I suspect the man in the lobby, who I couldn't communicate with well, took it. I asked for it back, but they acted as if they knew nothing. The place smells bad and is dirty, and they allow theft. They also handed me a blanket at reception with a clump of black hair in it.

Good location if you don't want loud music at night. When I checked in, the staff were respectful and nice.

The rooms are good and the restroom was clean. There was a lot of outside noise, including sirens, which I didn't like. Still, it's a good place.

WiFi was good, the TV worked most of the time during my two-night stay, and the water took a little while to warm up. Breakfast was okay, but check-in took 30 minutes. The front desk woman couldn't find my reservation and kept asking me to prove I had paid and say how much I'd paid, even though I had the confirmation sheet from Agoda. My room was directly over the entrance, and the downtown T.J. location was quite bad for noise. Fire trucks went by with sirens at all hours, and music from nearby bars came through. Parking is limited, shared with others, and spaces aren't assigned. Some rooms are rented by the hour and others by the week. Mine didn't look like the one in the Agoda app or on booking.com. The room felt bleak. Its single-pane windows didn't close properly, there was no A C or heat, and the pictured chairs were dirty and stained. There was a drug pipe in the room, and the furniture was falling apart. The bed was okay, but the linens had holes, the towels had hairs, and the mattress seemed very old.
