We arrived to check in and our room wasn't ready, so we decided to cancel. The host was unprofessional and said he couldn't access the app to help with the cancellation. I also saw what looked like a guest complaining that an employee had taken his vodka bottle. I can't imagine what might have happened to us or our girls. It didn't feel safe for families at all. The place is ugly and run-down, with a funky smell. It seemed like they rent the property to local people. There's no secure parking, and the area has lots of junkies. An old abandoned toilet sits just outside the hostel on the way to the street. Unless you're desperate for somewhere to sleep, don't bother. I'll never recommend it or use it again.

There was no water at all for two days, so the showers and bathrooms couldn't be used. There was also no hot water, and the promised free breakfast wasn't provided. A toilet had feces in it for two days without being cleaned. Check-in took an absurdly long time, and the people there didn't speak English. The managers seemed unconcerned about cleanliness or their guests. Their family also lived there, and the kids or babies could often be heard screaming at 7 a.m. or 11 p.m. Staff talked loudly beside the beds while people were trying to sleep, and with no soundproofing, traffic outside was loud too. This felt more like a halfway house than a hostel. Avoid it like the plague.

The internet barely worked, and the place was really dirty despite the videos they show of it being disinfected. The refrigerator was filthy too. There was no cable TV, just a few regular channels. I was told not to smoke outside and to smoke indoors with the window open. If I could give it zero, I would.

The kids ran around screaming late into the night, and the place didn't have anything like the nice hostel atmosphere I'd expect. The showers were almost impossible to use, with badly made drains, and employees had limited computer access for check-in. If security matters to you, this isn't the place.

The customer service was great, but my bed had poop on it, the pillows were yellow, and bedbugs were swarming. I booked through Airbnb, and they helped me cancel and get a refund. Don't stay here.
