I’ve summited Pico de Orizaba with Servimont twice over the years. They’re excellent for mountaineers heading for Mexico’s high peaks, and I can’t recommend them enough.

We had dinner and breakfast at the hostel, where we stayed both before and after the climb. Servimont’s expert support made climbing Pico de Orizaba the highlight of our trip in Mexico. Everything is set up perfectly for a mountaineering trip. Highly recommended!

Servimont has a great cultural and climbing experience, with fantastic homemade food at the hostel, which has a history as a soap factory. I’ve used their services twice and highly recommend this experienced, reputable company. Senior Reyes developed the Jampa Glacier route on Orizaba. For climbers in the area, they’re an established guiding and hosting service. They can arrange anything from airport pickup and mountain shuttles to gear rental, climbing advice, and itineraries. Don’t risk your life with another company.

Dr. Gerardo Reyes, the director and owner, has a fascinating story and was so helpful and accommodating. Servimont exceeded my expectations, from its incredibly unique lodging to the hospitality and service from the whole staff. It was one of the best experiences possible, and the absolute best place to stay if you’re looking to climb Pico de Orizaba. You won’t regret booking through Servimont. Highly recommend!

I found this to be the most affordable option based on my own research, including walking around town and asking in person. The cook also made vegetarian food for me. When I spoke with Senior Gerardo about climbing El Pico de Orizaba, he asked about my experience and suggested a suitable approach instead of pushing services I didn’t need. He’s a passionate third-generation mountaineer who clearly puts his love for the mountains ahead of his financial interests. Hands down the best touring company in town. If they’re fully booked, then contact someone else.
