JH Hotel Tlatlauquitepec

We’ve stayed here twice now, and the things that matter to us are still there: a clean, quiet room, hot water, and internet at a very affordable price. My daughter especially likes walking in and smelling how clean it is. It’s also just steps from the center, with a little convenience store across the street. The staff are respectful, attentive, and quick to respond when you need something. I’d recommend it.

I’d happily stay here again. The location is excellent, and after a long day the clean, comfortable, well-equipped room was a good place to unwind. Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help, too.

The cleaning staff did an excellent job, and the room was clean. The mattresses were fine, the water pressure was good, and there was hot water, though it drained slowly. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed. Some things could be better: the furniture looked a little neglected, with damp stains, and I prefer cotton towels and sheets. We had to ask for toiletries on day two, and on day one there had only been enough for one person. The other room we rented had the same issue. There are stairs down to the hotel entrance, so keep that in mind if traveling with older people or anyone with limited mobility. Payment is cash or bank transfer only.

It’s a comfortable, peaceful place, and the staff are really friendly. The room had Wi-Fi and cable TV, and the cleaning was very good. They also do laundry, which was great. You’re only two blocks from the center. I’d definitely recommend it.
