Hotel MonteCarlo

We were there for a wedding, so the location worked well. The pool and parking were good, but the hotel needs better upkeep. Our first room had stained sheets, and after we reported it, they moved us. The shower pressure was very low, and the hot and cold water were so touchy that it was difficult to shower comfortably. At checkout, I was charged for a towel stained when I used soap to remove my makeup. They treated it with chlorine without washing it first, then said the stain wouldn't come out. I paid, but I hope the money goes toward replacing some of the other linens, which are in very poor shape for a hotel. I'd only suggest staying here if there aren't other options or your event is at the hotel.

I didn't stay overnight. We used the facility to store a semi truck of food for our church to distribute after the earthquake. The owner is a wonderful, genuinely Christian man who lives by his faith, and his generosity is why I'll always recommend the place. The pool area was beautiful, and the part we saw was clean.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and nice. It didn't have a coffee pot or a refrigerator, though.

It's a calm, relaxing spot, and the people running it respond quickly when you need them.
