Hotel Tepetzalan

The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the stay nicer. The rooms are rustic but perfectly adequate, and the place is comfortable and quiet. It's not a luxury hotel, so it's especially suited to shorter visits, though you could stay longer if you're fine with simpler surroundings.

The owners were very attentive, and it's a nice spot to relax with children. The rooms are comfortable, pleasant, and very clean, with a lovely view of the hills. The pool is on the small side and a bit dirty, and Wi-Fi doesn't reach every room.

I went during Carnival and found it pleasant and clean, even though it's a small, rustic place. The location seems great, the staff are friendly and attentive, and they let us use the refrigerator. There's also a small pool. I'd definitely come back, and I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this place. I booked three rooms for Saturday night, and they confirmed the reservation and gave me the deposit details. Then, just 20 minutes later, they called to say the king-size rooms I'd asked for had gone to someone else who had put down a deposit. Luckily, I hadn't paid one yet. They offered me whatever rooms were left instead of what I'd requested, presenting it like a bargain. That's what these Quinta hotels are like. What poor customer service.
