There’s beer, food, music, and more at this good place. The food is excellent overall, especially at ASADOS DON ABEL.

Way too expensive.

The project's location is interesting, and it could offer visitors enjoyable experiences. But the animals aren't getting adequate attention, space, or care. One dog is visibly covered in fleas and cries when scratching because of flea dermatitis. A bath might help temporarily, but products that protect against external parasites are available, especially when admission is charged. Even rescued dogs are the project's responsibility, and they should be kept in the best condition, with no excuses, particularly at a pet-friendly place. The pigs should be in better physical condition, and the turtle's space and diet need to be reviewed. These problems have solutions, and a little attention could make a real difference to the animals' health and well-being. If they have "biodiversity" permits, the animals must be kept in excellent condition, or they shouldn't have them at all.

The communal bathrooms had cold water, and there wasn’t much of it. There were mosquitoes everywhere, and I honestly wouldn’t go back. The owner, or manager, seems to care only about money rather than good service, trying to charge for everything. They offered an outrageously expensive "breakfast," 130 pesos for two tamales and a coffee. The nearest store is miles away, and the on-site "store" is more like a candy shop without even the basics. The advertised "cabins" are just a country house, nothing impressive. They call it an educational farm, but a child was yelled at for watching and petting the animals. The advertising is misleading in other ways too: the grills don’t work, the cabin stove barely works, and there’s only one outlet. Supposedly, you can only keep your cell phone plugged in until 6:30 pm.
