The prices for our sodas doubled when we paid, and staff pointed to other price lists that weren’t visible. They even tried to charge us for the glass, the drink, and parking. What’s next, breathing? We said hello twice before getting a grudging reply, and they ignored any further conversation. Everything was dirty, and the staff seemed lazy and interested only in taking our money without doing anything. They were easily the rudest people we met in Mexico. This is a total tourist trap.

The restaurant has no air conditioning, just ceiling fans that don’t work. Half the menu wasn’t available, and it took more than 30 minutes to get a cold sandwich that had been sitting in the front fridge. The staff were incredibly rude. I’ve never been to a restaurant where paying customers were treated with so little respect. Don’t come here, avoid it at all costs.

We needed somewhere to leave our bags while we visited the ruins, but they wanted payment for lockers that didn’t even have keys. Our belongings could easily have been stolen. When we asked to use the bathroom, they said it was 15 pesos per person unless we bought something. We bought ice cream that was really bad for 95 pesos, then they said only two people could use the bathroom. We politely pointed out that it made no sense to allow only two people in after a 95-peso purchase when each person’s bathroom fee was 15 pesos. They just kept saying no and asking us for more money. The staff were extremely unfriendly and rude throughout. This place is literally a tourist trap. Avoid it like the plague.

The food wasn’t very good, and the bathrooms were awful and dirty, which is especially unacceptable when you have to pay to use them. Staff treated us terribly and then tried to charge extra for the bathroom even though we’d already paid. A woman who seemed to be the owner was particularly rude and unprofessional with customers. Terrible.
