Casa Agape Boutique Hotel Rooftop Pool & Beach club access

The rooms are amazing, the service was great, and the location is central. But it was noisy, with music and people shouting at the hostel next door until 1pm. I wouldn’t stay again, and if you want somewhere quiet, this isn’t the place.

Getting to the restaurant means climbing a lot of stairs, but it’s very cozy once you’re there. The room itself was spacious, nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed. The lighting was a little dim. One disappointment was finding out that beach club access and the beach weren’t actually free. Admission to Jaguar Park costs $400, and nobody really explained that beforehand.

The margaritas on the rooftop are amazing, and the rooms are super cute. It’s easy to walk to all the nearby restaurants, shops, and bars. They can also arrange a taxi to the national park. The friendly service was great, too. Breakfast choices seemed to change every day, so a bit more consistency would be nice, but that’s only a small suggestion.

We loved our stay and would be back in a heartbeat. The location gives you excellent access to town, and breakfast was fabulous. After checkout, they let us leave our bags until it was time to move on. Armando always had great suggestions for food and things to do. Alex was easygoing, upbeat, and helpful. The usual complaints seem to be about the roosters, dogs, and the bar at the noisy hostel next door. Earplugs made it not much of an issue for us.
