The staff were so thoughtful, especially at the bar. They brought napkins and water while I had breakfast without me needing to ask, and helped carry my luggage to the dorm. Mauricio made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and was always around and happy to answer questions. I had a really nice stay at Che hostel, with lovely staff and great vibes. They went above and beyond. I'd highly recommend staying at Che in Tulum, and I'll be back!

I'm not sure how to rate this place. I left a couple of days ago, and the facility looks dated, maybe a 3 at best. I guess customer service gets 5, though I'm not even sure I should say that. You be the judge. If a hostel employee has sex with a guest in a dorm, in the bunk right above you, does that count as five-star customer service? Do other hostels have employees sleeping with guests basically in public? Five stars or not?

The receptionist was really helpful and let us keep the private room a little longer, which we badly needed. It made us feel they were going out of their way to make our time at Che a good one. I also had a great time joining activities like beer pong, where I got to meet some lovely people.

It was easy to meet people here, and we stayed a few nights. Just know there's a party atmosphere if that's your thing. My friend and I were hoping to sleep well, but the music goes on late. Not a complaint exactly, just a heads-up.

The evening events made it easy to meet people from all over, including Britain, Wales, America, Czechoslovakia, Australia, and Canada. They had something different each night, like making a tequila drink or guacamole, and the host got everyone involved. The vibe at Che Tulum Hostel was great, and the staff were so helpful, especially Mauricio, Milagros, Luca, Abraham, and Enrique. Thanks, crew of Che Tulum, for being so lively and kind :)
