I found this place by chance and ended up staying for a long time. My room is spacious, elegant, and clean, and the two pools, elevator, and rooftop make for a great stay. The rooftop has good drinks and a party every night. Reception staff are warm and friendly, and the hospitality and room service have been exceptional. With its location in town and the quality of the food, this is a top choice considering the price and hospitality. I hope to bring my parents next time. Thanks to the staff so far.

Jose made our family feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He checked in with us, shared useful tips, and recommended local restaurants that were all hits with the family. The hotel was clean and cozy, with a relaxed Tulum feel. Our room was comfortable and quiet after a day out. Its central location meant we could walk to restaurants, shops, and local venues without needing to drive everywhere. We’d gladly stay again and recommend Downtown Tulum Hotel, especially for families looking for convenience, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality. Thanks to Jose for making it such a memorable trip!

This is just based on my stay, and others may have a different experience. The room was comfortable, with a soft bed and equally soft pillows, and the AC worked well. There was no TV, and the water was lukewarm at best, never hot. During our holiday night, music was really loud until around 1-2am, then people upstairs kept yelling after it stopped. Sunday night was calm, with no music. The on-site cafe is open from 8am till noon, and the breakfast was very good. I’d recommend trying it even if you’re not staying there.

The refund policy is garbage. You have to cancel three days before your booked date to get a refund. It doesn’t matter if the service is horrible and makes you decide not to stay the night, they still want your money. Keep this up and you’ll follow Tulum’s bankrupt trend. Nice job, eh. Pure crap.

The rooftop bar stays loud until 2 AM, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. It’s a plus if you like late nights. We loved this small, stylish hotel, with clean, airy rooms and a peaceful courtyard pool among the palms. The architecture opens across three floors up to the roof, making it feel light and open. Liz and Jesus were especially friendly and helpful. Great if you enjoy calm days and lively nights.
