We waited outside the hotel for three hours and nobody showed up. They never answered our emails or WhatsApp messages. Other reviews say people have been stranded too, so this clearly isn't the first time. Whether you'll actually be able to stay there that night seems like a gamble. Book somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

We stopped for lunch on the way back to Tulum after visiting coba, since we were hungry. I hadn't booked a room, though I wish I had. The prices were about the same as other places, and the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly. I had a look around while we waited, and it was really peaceful and nice for anyone wanting a quiet break. They have two pools.

The hotel has a protected reserve for the endangered Jaguar, and it offers a peaceful, private stay in comfortable surroundings. It feels like an ideal place for couples or solo travelers who want close contact with nature without damaging the jungle around them. It's a sustainable hotel where plastic bottles and containers aren't allowed. The coffee in each cabin is organic, and personal shower gel is provided for hands and showers. There's also a boutique called "Y" selling handmade clothes and crafts. The restaurant serves excellent traditional breakfasts, and a five minute walk away is PARADOR 22, with traditional meat dishes, pizza, pasta, and more.

The prices were exorbitant and the customer service was poor. I made a reservation for the wrong day, but when I checked for the day I was supposed to arrive, they had no booking for me. They didn't even apologize for their mistake. Definitely blacklisted for me, and I'm never coming back.

The food was really good, and Casita Nicte is a perfect getaway for enjoying nature. I'm excited to come back.
