Loads of cockroaches, and a long way from Tulum town. There are better options for the same price.

The place looks really nice, but living there was unpleasant because of the owner’s behavior. She’s difficult and very negative, and you never know what will upset her. When something goes wrong, it ends up being the tenant’s responsibility. Communication is awkward, and even asking for something basic can be a struggle. There’s also a serious cockroach problem. Fumigation only happens after a lot of insistence, and on several occasions she said it had already been done when it clearly hadn’t. She doesn’t return full deposits, or sometimes doesn’t return them at all, even when the apartment is left in good condition and all payments, including the electricity bill, are up to date. Most people who leave end up on bad terms and with a negative experience. I personally had a bad time living there and honestly wouldn’t recommend it.
