I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night. The owner was extremely rude when I tried to raise a safety concern about the showers, which looked like they were coming off the wall. She talked over me, raised her voice, and said, "If nothing fell on your head yet then its safe, I have enough of complains". She also said she was tired of complaints. If bringing up something that could be unsafe is considered annoying, that says a lot about the hotel's condition. One night was acceptable, but I wouldn't stay longer.

The construction is right against the wall, and hammering woke me every day at 8am sharp. Dust literally fell from the walls. Earplugs and earphones together still couldn't block the noise. I decided to post this warning because I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere. I paid to sleep here, but couldn't even do that. It's the loudest place in tulum. There was no hot water, the power sometimes went out, and WiFi dropped every few minutes. Mostly, though, it was the people jackhammering on the wall that made the stay unbearable.

Back for a second stay and still not disappointed. It's a small hotel with clean rooms, privacy, really helpful service, scooter rental, and an amazing breakfast.

For the price, I really liked this place. It was central, the room was clean and nice, and it wasn't noisy. The shower was good, too. A good experience overall.
