The pool is lovely, and the apartments look modern. But La Veleta was basically a construction site when we visited. The roads were unfinished and construction traffic made walking into town, and the general feel of the area, pretty unpleasant. I'd wait a couple of years before staying nearby again.

The security guards at the entrance were there day and night and were kind and polite. We only stayed here briefly, but everything went well. We came as part of the Zamna experience package for the electronic music festival in Tulum, where parties run through January. Our booking covered two nights at the hotel, VIP festival tickets, rides to and from the festival, breakfast, a healing cacao ceremony, and a massage. The massage was one of the best parts of my visit to Tulum. My girlfriend and I each had a practitioner, and both were clearly professional and passionate about their work. Before the massage, they did a sound ritual with a wave instrument that helped me feel peaceful. I honestly recommend the experience just for the massage, or check out @synergymassagemx if you're visiting Tulum. We both felt like whole new people afterward.

The central pool is huge, and the forest views from both sides are excellent. There's always a guard on duty, day and night. Great condo, highly recommend it.

I lived here for six months. The accommodation was decent for the price, but be careful about the deposit. The owners didn't return mine, and the same thing happened to four other people from different Blue Luxury accommodations.

The staff and other residents were really friendly. The apartment was clean, modern, and spacious, and the location was great. I'd definitely recommend it.
