This was my second stay, and it was just as good as I remembered. My husband and I came after our recent wedding in Costa Mujeres, and the hotel knew we'd just married. They treated us like a king and queen: we got an oceanfront casita upgrade, complimentary champagne and mezcal shots, and the front desk, management, and restaurant staff kept finding ways to make the trip special. The service is top tier, and I don't understand some of the recent negative reviews. The small casitas are private and adorable, and the amenities are great. The bed was very firm for my preference, but it was fine overall. In a Tulum hotel zone that's crazy expensive, PPP's food and drinks actually aren't as pricey. I highly recommend the shrimp quesadilla at the beach club and the mezcalita. Thanks, PPP, for another amazing getaway. We hope to see you again soon.

The beachfront setting, music, and energy at Papaya all came together for a perfect vibe. I had one of the best nights of my whole trip to Mexico. The staff and other guests were super cool and welcoming, and we felt at home right from the start.

We wanted to rest and recharge for our sixth anniversary, and the tropical, eco-friendly atmosphere was just what we needed. Javier and Ricardo welcomed us warmly and made sure we had a relaxing week. The location is perfect if you're after a tropical jungle getaway, and I'd say a villa with a private pool is worth it. We joined the yoga and breath work sessions and the on-site full moon dance party, which was a nice bonus. We had breakfast every day at the PPP beach restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere relaxing, and the service perfecto. Thanks to Sergio, Alfie, and Susanna. Our couples massage on the beachfront was peaceful too. Shoutout to Lupia and Cynthia!

It's a stunning, unique, and beautiful place, and we had a great time at the full moon party. They also offer yoga and other activities. Service can be a little slower than at a traditional hotel, but nothing terrible. Just understand the concept before you book: it's a luxury eco-resort, and it won't suit everyone. Don't expect a TV or coffee maker, and the lighting is dim at night. The atmosphere is calm and intentional, meant to help you disconnect and reconnect with yourself.

The events I’ve been to at Papaya Playa Project have all stuck with me, and I’d go back whenever I’m in Tulum. The place brings together people from around the world for good music and a great atmosphere in a beautiful setting. The DJs were incredible, and the production felt well done without going overboard. Dancing under the stars with the ocean just steps away is something you have to experience. Papaya Playa Project really knows how to throw a party, and if you’re after Tulum nightlife and events, it’s a great place to go.
