I'm staying here now with kids, in two condos, and the experience has been horrible. The bathrooms are dirty and there are cockroaches everywhere. Nobody listens to complaints, and the toilet flush fails nine times out of ten. They said daily housekeeping was included, but now they're asking for more money. There isn't even toilet paper. This feels highly unsafe and unhygienic with little kids.

I stayed in the apartment behind Manor Tulum, with my window facing its back wall. A grinding air unit screeched loudly every minute, day and night, throughout my stay, so relaxing was impossible. The owners and management were never available to deal with it and seemed not to care. This isn't a review of the building itself, but of how rude and thoughtless the owners were. They show no consideration for the people living around them. To the owners of Manor Tulum, please leave Aldea Zama so people who care about the community can take over.

The place was quite okay and had good facilities. We reported some fairly important defects the day after arrival, but they still hadn't been fixed by the end of our two-week stay. Compensation came a couple of months later.

Aldea Zama has a space like no other.

The managers' poor communication and customer service were the worst part. They can make the stay difficult or even ruin it, leaving you going in circles when all you want is to relax. The building is nice and the area very quiet, while the apartment itself could use maintenance. Its AC feels too small for the spacious, high-ceilinged rooms, so you may feel hot. The tap water is salty, though not a major issue. There’s everything needed to cook, plus hotel-style amenities. This could be an excellent place if the managers were more mindful of guests' need for a restful stay. I’m not saying I wouldn’t recommend it, just asking for better service.
