The value for the location and service is incredible compared with what other places charge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with AC, a mosquito net, toiletries, and streaming service. The garden and pool are lovely places to hang out, and there’s a big rooftop with a grill. The jacuzzi was empty while we were there. You can walk to the center and lots of shops and restaurants. The streets around the property felt quite dark at night, though, so I’d suggest renting a bike or scooter and using the Main Street one block away.

Casa Elda was ready for Hurricane Beryl, which helped reduce the discomfort for guests. They let us park our RV in front of the main entrance, protecting it from possible damage from falling trees, branches, or other things. The neighborhood is very quiet, while restaurants and the main supermarket are only a 10-minute walk away. Great location and service for the price.

The pool lights make it a peaceful place to relax, and getting into the property and rooms with passcodes was very convenient. My room at Casa Elda was clean and well kept, and the location made it easy to explore Tulum. There was some noise from dogs and people on the street at times, which was a little disruptive, but I’d still consider staying here again. If you have a rental car, parking is outside the property, and dining options are only about a two-minute bike ride away.

There’s usually someone at the house who can help you find a bike, scooter, or taxi at a normal price. The rooms have a proper kitchen, AC, and a mini fridge, and there’s a small pool plus a rooftop with a nice view over the area. It’s a decent 15-minute walk to the city center restaurants. Nice, clean, beautiful hotel, though the hot water wasn’t steady.
