Our Habitas Tulum - Adults Only

We were staying at an Airbnb up the road, but kept returning here for the great food and atmosphere. It felt like our second home on the trip. There were plenty of places to sit, find shade, relax by the pool, or work remotely. The beach was rocky and had seaweed, so swimming in the ocean wasn't ideal, but everything else was perfect. Already missing this place!

The spa was unforgettable, one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere. At Habitas Tulum, everything felt personal, from the thoughtful and attentive service to each interaction. The food was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented every time. My wife and I felt transported as soon as we arrived. The setting blends jungle and ocean beautifully, and feels both luxurious and grounded. The atmosphere is relaxed but elevated, soulful but refined. We left feeling restored and inspired, and we're already planning to return.

The pool overlooking the ocean was my favorite place to lounge. Habitas had a peaceful feel, with the jungle and breezy beach days setting the mood. The food and service made a real difference to our stay. We expected less and enjoyed much more. I can't recommend this hotel enough if you stop in Tulum.

The rest seemed fine, but the room was nowhere near what the website photos showed. We booked the pool room expecting that lovely terrace, pool and decor, and got a bare room with a lousy porch instead. The pool was a letdown too. Traffic from the road kept us awake all night, and red ants got to us on our last night. I booked through Very Chic and am furious. They need to do something about this. Don’t be fooled, book somewhere else.
