The peaceful location and well-tended outdoor areas were highlights of our seven-day stay at Villa Amalfi Tulum. The grounds crew and cleaners kept the pool and hot tub in good shape, took out the trash, cleaned the floors, and made the beds. Do come prepared for mosquitoes, though, they’re ready for blood. Inside, the rooms were lovely, but they needed a more thorough clean. We found dust and lots of spider webs in the bedrooms, bathrooms, around the kitchen lights, and behind the beds and TVs. The villa had most of the basics, but there wasn’t salt or pepper, which was a small inconvenience. It could be a wonderful place with better upkeep and more attention to cleaning. We should have made more use of the personal chef. The prices were good and the food was amazing. Chef Carlos cooked for us twice, and both meals were great.
Nice house layout, but the bed felt too small for two, and the pillows were hard as sandbags.
We’ve just wrapped up a bachelorette stay at Villa Amalfi, and it was fantastic. The house was incredible, and the concierge helped us with every little thing. We also booked the chef and had a wonderful meal. It was hospitality at its best. The villa is in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood, at least in June, and just a short distance from downtown and the beach clubs. Renting four-wheelers through the concierge made getting around a total game changer. 10/10, I’d recommend it. I can’t really describe how great it was, you have to see it!
Villa Amalfi was a plush, relaxing place to recharge after nights out in Tulum. We had a big dinner with a private chef, and the courtyard is full of jungle plants. The pool was wonderfully relaxing too. Highly recommend it for a group of friends who want to party at night and come back to somewhere cozy.
Villa Amalfi Tulum was a perfect spot for our bachelorette weekend, whether we wanted to go out or just stay in. The pool, hammocks, and several lounging areas made it tempting to spend the whole time at the villa. It feels private and safe, with lovely beaches and restaurants just a bike ride or taxi ride away. We made good use of the bikes: groceries on the first day, the beach on the second, and breakfast on the third. The cleaning staff did an amazing job, and the villa is beautifully decorated, with care given to every detail. We didn’t get to try the chef or spa, though I’ve heard great things about both.
