Villas Roseliz Punta Allen

We only planned to stay two days in Punta Allen, but David's hospitality kept us there for more than a week. It's a magical place in the middle of the Sian Ka’an Reserve, though getting there takes a while. The hostel sits right by the beach, and staff clean it each morning. Rooms are cozy, with two kitchens, a terrace, and a laid-back shared space. The garden is lush, and you can borrow a kayak or SUP. Paddle about a hundred meters out and you're among turtles. Ángel is a wonderful captain for a boat trip, and the massage left me feeling like I'd gone to another universe. I can't recommend the place enough.

I loved the community feel in the shared area, and it was great having use of the kitchen. Villas Roseliz is a hidden gem in the Sian Kaan reserve, right on the beach. They welcomed me with a fresh coconut, and David and Angel made my stay special with their amazing tours. David's wife gave a massage I loved, too. I miss this paradise already and would come back if I get the chance. Thanks for making such a special place and sharing it!

Sonja was always around when we needed her, and she'd make the best food whenever we asked. David was super friendly and set up two great tours for us with Israel and Francisco, who showed us the nature around Punta Allen. We had room number one, which was spacious and clean, with hot water all the time. We could hear the waves through the night. Sitting out in the yard with our feet in the sand was so relaxing. Hope we can come back soon!

The dogs were the highlight for us, so friendly and protective! Sonia and David were very helpful, and the hotel is just steps from the beach. The room has air conditioning. WiFi can be patchy, but it's fine if you don't need Zoom meetings. Power is off from 7-10 am and 2-6 pm, though that wasn't really a problem. Highly recommend.
