Weary Traveler Hostel

A great atmosphere for meeting people and partying, but it doesn’t get too wild since most people take the party elsewhere. There’s a pool, hammocks, live entertainment, a tour company attached, a large kitchen, and delicious breakfast. The staff are great and the location is good. Plus, there’s an hour of free drinks every day. Some of the power outlets didn’t work, and there was no hot water, but neither bothered me much. This is my favorite hostel, and plenty of people have already said the rest of what I’d say. Check it out!

We did yoga on the terrace in the morning before breakfast, and the breakfasts were the best we’ve had at any hostel. The staff were fun, helpful, and seemed to be having a great time themselves. There’s a great pool too. Our private room was clean and nice, with air conditioning and a fan, and the bathroom was beautifully decorated.

I’ve stayed here several times on my trips to Mexico, and it’s always been a great hostel. It’s centrally located and easy to get around, with friendly staff and plenty to do. There’s a pool and air-conditioned dorms, plus a dive shop attached for exploring the cave system below Tulum. The dive rates are reasonable, about what you’d pay elsewhere, and the people there were so cool.

The dive shop attached to the hostel has great deals, and breakfast is awesome. The hostel itself is clean and good. The free drinks from 6:30 to 7:30 are hard to pass up. We’d read about a bad smell in the pool, and it was there. Nobody really swam in it, but I think it came from a nearby sewer manhole rather than the pool itself.
