We loved watching birds from the shared areas, and the dive shop on site arranged a great snorkelling trip. Shops and other places to eat are just a short walk down the road, and having free parking was a big bonus. The owners and staff were so helpful, with lots of trip tips and help arranging transport. Our villa was simple but comfortable, right by the water. We enjoyed sitting in the porch hammocks, and appreciated the drinking water and hot showers.

We wanted a laid-back beach holiday, and Zamas was just right. It isn't fancy, but the huts are right on the sand, some along the beach and others in a small cove. Each room has a little porch with a hammock, air conditioning, and plenty of hot water. The staff were wonderful and happy to help with any requests. We felt safe, and there was lots nearby to do without relying on cabs or shuttles. At the restaurant, happy hour was great and all the food we tried was lovely. I'd especially recommend the Baja fish and shrimp tacos, and the breakfast chilaquiles were perfect. We'd definitely return to Zamas.

The sunset from Zamas Hotel was unforgettable, and I loved the food and cocktails too. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed. It's also reassuring to have security available 24 hours a day. The location made exploring the area easy, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. I'd happily stay again. Thanks to everyone at Zamas for making the visit so memorable.

The hotel and restaurant staff were warm and accommodating, which made my solo trip to Tulum feel relaxing and rewarding. I stayed in a beach cabana and loved waking up to the ocean sounds and watching the sun rise. I also liked that this part of the hotel strip was quieter than the area farther south, nearer the big beach clubs. The room was comfortable and had what I needed, including purified water at no charge and a mosquito net over the bed in case insects got inside.

The concierge really stood out. They were easy to reach on WhatsApp and quick, friendly, and helpful. The welcome drinks were a lovely touch, and the service was great from check-in through checkout. Our room was simple but spacious, with a large, nice bathroom. We did have some ants and other little critters. The pool was nice, and the beach was good for relaxing with a book or letting the kids play in the sand. They provide sand toys, and we appreciated being allowed to use the beach after checkout. Parking was easy while we were there because it wasn't busy, and they have a private lot. The rooms “over the jungle” get some road noise, and you have to cross the street to reach the beach. It's a bit far from Tulum, so renting a car could make sense if you're going into town. Zona hotelera is mostly restaurants and hotels, and we didn't think much of the area itself. There's foosball in the restaurant, but the table is old and not very good, so competitive players may be disappointed.
