The room and bathroom were huge, and the price made this excellent hotel even better. Soundproofing is weak, which cost it a star. The staff were lovely, attentive, and the service was absolutely great. The views aren't much to write home about, but it's an industrial port, so... I loved the place!

Right by the river, with a decent breakfast, comfortable beds, and strong wifi. The chairs are fine if you're working.

I'm on day 1 of 7, and so far the hotel has been great. The walls are my only complaint. In rooms where the beds share a wall, you can hear the people next door snoring or laughing until 2 am. I'd definitely stay again, but I'd request a room at the other end. The beds in rooms ?02 and ?03 share a wall, so try for ?01 or ?04.

The whole hotel lost water, and no one took the time to let guests know. We eventually had to move to another hotel. The staff are usually very helpful, but seemed unsure what to do this time. I asked the front desk for a bucket of water to flush the toilet in my room, and they said they didn't have any buckets.

My husband and I stayed here in 2019. We've traveled around central Mexico since then and tried several hotels, but none have measured up to this one. The staff were excellent, the room was perfect, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the free breakfast was delicious. We'll absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Tuxpan!
