Hotel Villa de Flores

I loved the interior design, and the hotel is right in the center, with secure parking 100 m away. The staff were a real letdown: they didn’t keep the bathrooms clean, and the bath towels were badly stained and full of holes. After 11 pm, they also did nothing about noise. Guests were talking loudly in the lobby at 1 in the morning, so I had to ask them to quiet down myself. Such a shame, and very disappointing because of the staff’s lack of professionalism and training.

It’s pretty cozy, and when we asked for extra towels and an electric fan, they brought them over at no charge. The details in the rooms could use attention, though. The curtains are really old, and the cable signal was awful.

The staff were nice, and the room was fine for a standard stay. The TV channels were mostly full of static, but still okay to listen to. Water pressure at both the sink and shower was pretty weak. Since every room has a big window, you can hear most noises. I’d stay again.

There’s an open courtyard, and the inside is decorated with old antiquities. It’s affordable, and I liked staying here. The parking is about a block away. If you get there after 5pm, you have to get the key and open it yourself. I’d come back.
